Employment with Aegis

Aegis is always looking for experienced individuals with an adventurous spirit and keen intellect to work in the Research and Intelligence Division and Protective Security/Defence Assistance Division.  We have three categories of staff:

• Permanent staff
• Retained staff
• Associates

 - Permanent staff are based in our London office or are deployed in extended projects.  They are paid an annual salary plus bonus as appropriate.

 - Retained staff are people whom Aegis does not need full-time but who have specialist skills which we requires ‘on call’.  They are paid a monthly retainer and daily rates as appropriate for skill, experience, location, threat etc.  They may accept other work but not within the security/defence field.  They are at 48 hours' notice to move.

 - Associates are people co-opted for specific projects.  Their details are kept on the Aegis database and they are contacted before tasking to check availability.  They are paid a daily rate or other negotiated fee, depending on the duration of the task.
